Alerts are optional and supplement emails: dive reminders, waiting-list promotions, approaching payment deadlines, cancellations notified by the centre, nonpayment cancellations and processed refunds. Always check My reservations and My activity; connectivity or device settings may delay delivery.
Sign in on this device and open My details → Notifications → Enable notifications. Tap Allow when prompted by the browser or system, then Send test. If the section is missing, the service may be disabled. Use HTTPS, not private browsing or another app's embedded browser.
iPhone and iPad
Requires iOS/iPadOS 16.4 or later. In Safari, open the booking website → Share → Add to Home Screen; enable Open as Web App if shown. Launch the new icon, sign in and enable notifications in My details. A regular browser tab is not enough. To restore permissions: Settings → Notifications → the Buceo Donosti app → Allow Notifications. Also check Focus modes.
Android with Chrome
We recommend up-to-date Chrome. Current Chrome versions require Android 10 or later; this is the browser requirement, not a universal Web Push minimum. Installation is optional for notifications, although adding the website to your home screen makes access easier. In Chrome, open the site → information icon beside the address → Permissions → Notifications. Also check Android Settings → Apps → Chrome (or the installed app if listed separately) → Notifications. Allow both website and app notifications.
Android with Edge and other browsers
In up-to-date Edge, check Settings → Site permissions → Notifications, if available, or permissions via the icon beside the address. Also allow Edge under Android Settings → Apps → Edge → Notifications. Menus and availability vary by version and manufacturer; not every combination is guaranteed. If the option is missing or the test fails, try up-to-date Chrome and enable alerts there: permissions are not shared between browsers.
If the test does not arrive or permission is blocked
The website cannot override denied permission: change it in browser or system settings, then return to My details to enable and test. Check you are using the same domain and browser where you enabled alerts. Review connectivity, Do Not Disturb, notification categories, battery and background activity restrictions. Do not force-stop the browser during testing. If problems persist, contact the centre with your system and browser versions; avoid clearing all browser data.
Activation is per device. Signing out disables alerts on that device; enable them again after signing in. You can disable them in My details. Alerts may show dates and payment status on the lock screen: adjust system previews if you need privacy.
